Following systematic, data-driven analyses, the report concludes the following: although Israel has made solid initial steps over the past five years toward prioritizing aging as part of its national agenda, additional efforts are needed to:
● Continue to maintain and cultivate its existing strengths, which requires governmental support of the development of the Longevity Industry and a strong academic geroscience research landscape.
● Crystallize its national development strategy and place healthspan extension at its center, akin to UK’s successful decision to list the problem of an aging population as the #2 grand challenge in its industrial strategy.

The International Longevity Alliance (ILA) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and advocating for the social support and worldwide cooperation in research and development aimed at significantly extending healthy human lifespan. It focuses on the advancement of scientific and technological innovations that can lead to disease prevention, age-related health improvements, and longevity for the global population.
The ILA works towards creating a common platform for longevity activists, scientists, and all stakeholders interested in aging research and anti-aging interventions. By fostering collaboration and sharing knowledge across borders, the organization aims to accelerate the development of therapeutic solutions that can reduce the burden of age-related diseases and improve the quality of life for older individuals.
